Synopsis:

This film follows John Byrne, one of Scotland's leading writers and artists, turning his triumphant play 'The Slab Boys' premiered 20 years ago at the Traverse in Edinburgh, into a feature film.

'The Slab Boys' is a half hour film for BBC Scotland's arts documentary strand EX's, funded by BBC.
